ABOUT ME

My name is Renee and I did not want to be an animal communicator.

I grew up an avid animal lover in a suburb of Philadelphia, PA.  I had a particular passion for horses from a very young age. I started horseback riding at age 7 and continued to ride through college. I graduated from the Equine Science & Management program at Delaware Valley University in May 2010, with a focus on equine reproduction. Upon graduation, I interned for several equine breeding operations including a stallion station in Delaware and Standardbred breeding facilities in New Jersey and Kentucky. I would then accept a job at a large equine referral hospital in the heart of Saddlebred country, Simpsonville, KY, where I worked as an equine vet assistant to the late Dr. Scott Bennett. For three years, I continued my skills while gaining experience in inpatient care, surgery, emergency and critical care, advanced imaging - including MRI and Nuclear Scintigraphy, embryo transfer and recipient mare management, laboratory techniques and sports medicine.

While living in KY, I began to miss the coast and a job in the PNW became available. So at the end of 2013, I drove to Tacoma, WA with my cat, Miles, and two guinea pigs, Pumpkin and LaFonda. I fell in love with the PNW and my work as a vet assistant continued with an ambulatory equine veterinary practice in Pierce County. I have since entered into a predominantly sports medicine based equine practice where I have been for over eight years and have found a happy balance in my work.

During the greater part of my career with animals, I never once thought that animal communication was real. I would hear the words “animal communicator” and immediately roll my eyes. I had no intention of becoming an animal communicator. In 2016, I was urged by my mentor, Reese SanAgustin-Turner, to develop my skills in animal communication as she believed it was my purpose. To be quite frank, I did not take this idea seriously and, at the time, thought it sounded absolutely ridiculous. I didn’t want to be an animal communicator and I continued my life as usual.

It was not until 2019 that I decided to put my assumptions aside and actually attempted to communicate with an animal telepathically for the first time- while having zero expectation. To my astonishment, I had success. I reached out to a pair of horses that I had not previously visited, that were in the care of a friend in Maryland, and I was able to receive information via subtle energy reading. Information regarding their living space, health and general well-being was conveyed to me. Information, that was confirmed by my friend.

From that day forward, I have worked to further develop my intuitive ability. Friends would ask me to communicate with their cat or dog about a health problem or a relationship dynamic. Coworkers would request that I reach out to their deceased pet. During this unconventional journey, I have learned to never underestimate the power of energetic frequency and its ability to give us information. My years of experience as a veterinary assistant and the ability to read subtle energy that we all possess has created a unique skill that I would love to share with the pets and people of the community. My goal is to help provide a safe space for pets and their people to communicate, learn, heal and find resolution.
